Minimal-Carb Beef Stroganoff

It’s hard to believe, but we’re already two months into 2013. While it seems we were just toasting the New Year, spring stroganoff meaning nearly upon us. It’s a good time for a quick check-up on those New Year’s resolutions.

Any casserole you make can be jazzed up with a vegetable. Onions are a good first vegetable. I hate the taste of onions but I love the flavor it gives other food. Cook onions with your meat to make it more savory. Ask yourself what vegetable would go well in the casserole you’re making. I just made some stroganoff slow cooker and thought that broccoli would go well in it. My mom is visiting and helping and she agrees. When I asked how much to put in she said as much as there is meat. I was skeptical. It seemed like way too many vegetables but it was perfect. Cook the vegetable in with the meat or sauce and it take on its flavor.

Sitting in a chair in his studio not far from the Kremlin, Nikas is reflecting on destination of the artist. “While painting a picture you should take the best of the man and show this to him,” he explains. The task is not to make russian stew paintings – complimentary “portraits (something that the Russian press constantly accuses him of), but to show how people could be different in different situations, during their ups and downs.

The Castleberry’s American Original stew also proved to be very filling. This is because it set the standard for “chunky” soups. There were big pieces of beef and potatoes in it and, while not as common, some vegetables. One can was more than enough to provide a filling (and comforting) lunch that stuck with me throughout the afternoon. I have yet to find another canned beef stew that succeeds in doing that.

A sick or unhealthy family pet can bring much distress to the family and incur very high veterinarian fees. Do the family and your dog a favor and spend a little time thinking considering his diet the same way you think about yours. Your dog will reward you with a long happy life.
